Meldsy Label Bridge

What the extension handles

During an active handoff, the extension handles the Meldsy order identifier, the Meldsy and marketplace tabs used for that handoff, their URLs, and the shipping-label PDF you request from Etsy or eBay. A shipping label can contain a buyer's name, postal address, and shipment details.

How the data is used

The extension uses this data only to match the Etsy or eBay label to the Meldsy print bundle that opened the marketplace. The PDF is passed directly between the extension and that Meldsy tab in your browser. It is not uploaded to or stored on Meldsy's servers.

Storage and deletion

PDF bytes stay in browser memory and are never saved in extension storage. Temporary handoff metadata is stored in browser session storage so the handoff can survive extension service-worker suspension. It is removed when the handoff finishes, is canceled, or expires.

If the extension safely captures a normal browser download, it removes that redundant local download only after Meldsy accepts the PDF. If capture fails, the ordinary download is left available.

Sharing and tracking

The extension does not sell data, use data for advertising or credit decisions, or share label data with unrelated parties. It does not use analytics, tracking pixels, cookies, or remotely hosted executable code.

Limited Use

The use of information received through the extension complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Data is used only to provide the label-handoff feature, is not transferred for advertising, and is not made available for human review except when the user explicitly requests support or when required for security or law.

Your control

The extension acts only after you start a handoff in Meldsy. You can cancel an active handoff by closing the Etsy or eBay label window, close the Meldsy print bundle, or remove the extension from your browser at any time.
